Emma Parks

Licensed Master Social Worker

Life often brings us curveballs, transitions, or difficulties that even when we foresee them coming, affect us in ways we don’t always know how to handle. Wading through difficult challenges in life, processing new circumstances, and overcoming what can feel insurmountable should not be a journey that you go alone. As a clinician, Emma believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and utilize a strengths-based approach to support clients through whatever may come their way. Whether you’re stepping into a new role in life, attempting to heal from past wounds or difficulties, or navigating challenges that you’ve yet to find a solution to, Emma would be honored to walk and talk alongside you in your journey.

Emma has experience working with children (8+), adolescents, families, and adults of all backgrounds with a focus on life transitions and trauma-informed care. Her therapeutic style is a combination of CBT, TBRI, and a variety of evidence-based techniques to provide clients with new skills, develop further insight on themselves and their past, and walk alongside clients on their life journey in way that is authentic to each individual.

Emma received her Master of Social Work from Samford University and is passionate about partnering with clients through whatever may come. Outside of her time as a therapist, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, cooking, or spending time outside whenever possible.
