Susan Goldberg

Licensed Master Social Worker

Susan's approach as a clinician is working with clients from a strengths-based and empowerment perspective. She has many years of experience working with teens and adults on a wide range of mental health issues and specialize in trauma, sexual assault/abuse, anxiety and depression. She work with both individuals and families.

 

Susan encourages her clients to fully examine their lives --both struggles and strengths-- on their own terms and in a judgment-free environment. She enjoy providing her clients with a safe space to process emotions and feelings, explore the impact of life experiences, learn distress tolerance and coping skills and to set meaningful goals so that they can navigate life with success.

 

In treatment, she may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), talk therapy, trauma interventions and other modalities chosen specifically to best meet the needs of each individual client.

 

Susan is very passionate about what she does and cares deeply about providing exceptional therapy experiences to each of her clients.
